Paterson Gym Teacher Accused Of Sexual Contact With 10-Year-Old Student

PATERSON, N.J. — A Paterson gym teacher from Hackensack was arrested on sexual contact charges involving a 10-year-old student, authorities said.

Edward Clark, 36, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact and child endangerment for conduct while he was a physical education teacher at School No. 8, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.

A judge ordered him held on $50,000 bail pending a Friday morning court hearing, Valdes said.
